The Pacific Hope lay quietly off the coast of Emao Island in Vanuatu.
Noel Jeffery was not doing well. His small frame now weighed in at just 6 kilos, and his 17 year old mother didn’t know what to do.
Malnutrition and dehydration had taken its toll over the last two months and his life was ebbing away after four short years.
A radio call was quickly made to the ship and the Resue Tender was immediately launched.
Marvin Wilson, one of our ships officers, pushed the inflatable to its maximum reaching speeds of 40 knots to cover the ten miles to the mainland.
Running the boat up on a beach, a van was immediately commandeered and Noel was rushed to hospital.
Saving just one life made it all worth while.
That is why we do what we do, and that’s why your support is so crucial.
Thank you for your donation this month.
We want to save more lives.
All the best,
