The Family Care Centre

In past years Marine Reach’s ship, the M/V Pacific Hope, carried volunteer medical professionals to locations not easily accessible in Vanuatu. During that time, David and Linda Cowie, the founders of Marine Reach, recognised the need for an ongoing presence in Vanuatu. The recognition of this need gave birth to the vision for the Family Care Centre.

Discipling A Nation

The Family Care Centre (FCC) is Marine Reach’s medical and training campus located in Teouma Valley on the Island of Efate. The FCC began as a small medical clinic in 2016 and expanded in 2018 to include a training facility focused on empowering and equipping individuals beyond the classroom. Both the clinic and the training facility have seen significant growth over the years.

The vision of The Family Care Centre is to disciple the nation of Vanuatu through medical and dental care, skills-based education, spiritual discipleship, and community development projects to those in need in Vanuatu.
