The bible is an incredible resource, giving wisdom, insight and hope to followers of Jesus for thousands of years. But let’s face it: it can be somewhat difficult to gain a deeper understanding of the underlying themes running throughout the story, and some parts are just downright hard to read. That’s where we come in.

In just 8 weeks, you’ll gain a high-level understanding of some of the core themes of the scriptures, setting you up for a lifetime of studying and loving your bible. You’ll feel more at home in the scriptures when you gain insight into the design patterns and the overall storyline, leading you to a deeper relationship with Jesus, and hope for your future.

Each week will present a new Key Topic or Theme:

Going Deeper

Each week will present you with a new core theme or topic (see below for schedule) presented by a new speaker. Each week’s session will comprise 1.5 hours of classroom-style learning followed by half an hour of small group discussion and application to help drive the learning home.

God is leading history, shaping it according to His purposes and goals. By going deeper into the scriptures, you’ll not only discover God’s heart and why He’s done what He’s done, but you’ll also discover the part you’re meant to play in His good world!

If you don’t have the full $25, please just contribute what you can. Don’t let finances be a barrier to your growth in God!

Notes:

The koha will help to cover the running cost of the facilities, as well as any course materials you’ll need, and snacks and refreshments throughout the course.
