Multiply your discipleship experience on the DTS PLUS.
Take your relationship with God to the next level on your DTS PLUS, and get equipped for a lifetime of loving and serving God. You’ll get all the incredible benefits of the DTS (Discipleship Training School), combined with the transformational equipping of our DBS (Discipleship Bible School). It’s a DTS PLUS the DBS!
Your DTS PLUS will consist of 3 distinct phases:
1. Discipleship Training School
5 Months
You’ll experience life changing discipleship throughout your DTS Lecture Phase, including foundational teachings, stream times where you can dig deeper into your passions, and belonging in our live-learn community. Then, you’ll get to go overseas to help change the lives of others during your DTS Outreach Phase.
2. Service: Staff Assist
1-3 Months
Between schools, you will then get the opportunity to serve short-term alongside Marine Reach’s NZ staff team, learning first-hand what it looks like to be a part of a discipleship missions community.
3. Discipleship Bible School
3 Months
Finally, you’ll take your relationship with God to the next level during your DBS, where the Word of God will come alive to you like never before, and you’ll be equipped for a lifetime of loving and serving God, using the Bible as your foundation for further growth and discipleship.
The DTS PLUS also gives you a significantly reduced rate on the cost of the DBS.

DBS has been a fulfilled prayer for me. When I was home, I asked the Lord to bring me deeper into his word, and He put that desire on my heart. I knew I would come back to staff, and I thought I would dive into it on my own. I found myself not having the right tools needed to effectively study God’s word. Once DBS became an option, I went for it wholeheartedly. I have been enjoying my time, going deeper than I imagined. God has shown me new things, removed false perspectives of his word and brought me into a deeper understanding of who he is. I have been challenged in many ways during this course, helping me find my place in God’s kingdom. I’ve been able to build a strong foundation with the Word of God. Over all, the Lord created a new heart within me that desires to love, praise, share joy, and bring others into the family of God. I love this school for all that is provided from strong friendships to heart moving moments in small groups and the teachings. My life will never be the same after this school!

Credits
12 credits will be earned upon successful completion of the Discipleship Bible School (CHR 227- Introductory Bible Course). These credits may be applied toward a U of N degree and have been accepted at some other colleges and universities.
